Followd Subi for a very long time, as did my grandparents who watched Bunton Senior play and to my knowledge watched the 1924 premiership. Always loved the club. I have been in Vic for a lont time but watched the 1973 droughtbreaker, did we celebrate that day. Love Subilions Tales great read, thanks for making it available.....Robert

G'day Brendan, sorry I took so long to get back to you. Big Bob Johnson was appointed assistant coach to Alan Killegrew in the 1967 season. The following year Haydn Bunton commenced his 5 year stint in charge of the Maroons.

Hi Pedro, I've enjoyed reading your "tales". Much appreciated. Can you please tell me if Bob Johnson (formerly of Melbourne and East Fremantle) ever coached Subiaco ??? Kind regards, Brendan Clarke.

Just discovered this website Pedro. Lost most of the night reading it when I probably should have been doing something else... oh well. Good on ya. I hope to catch a few more games this year with a new job.
